Spring

Oh, I love spring. It's one of my favorite times of the year.  The warm days, but still having that cool breeze and cool nights.  The radiant green in all the plants and grasses.  The beautiful blossoms blooming again for a new year.  It's so joyful, It shows hope, as the tree of life is once blooming again.  It shows God's amazing wonders in so many beautiful ways.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The
old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

Sunday Snapshot {Morgyn Wynter}

Miss Morgyn Wynter.
The most talented facial expression making 3 year old I know.  And I thought I could make quite the facial expressions?  Guess not anymore because I sure can't make this one!  Hehe ;)  I know this isn't a very good picture at all, but it was the one time I caught this face on camera...and it's priceless.

Cow "Rounding Up"

When you mix blackberry/rose bushes, family, cows and steep mountains you get, well, just look at the pictures below.  They can explain themselves. :)  It sure is a learning process for everyone, but hey, even though it's not always fun, we are all learning something.

My uncle.  Trust me, he's always like that.
See?  There he goes again with his "JCPennys pose" as he calls it.
My baby who melts my heart.  I love her :)
Playing the cow shoot is fun...until you can't get out.

Avoiding thorny rose bushes that, trust me, really hurt.
I love spring

Doing ear tags and shoots...and keeping chargin' mamas away.

Hey Everyone!
I'm kind of doing a "test" on who really reads my blog and who don't.  I know I haven't had very many interesting posts for awhile and I'm sorry about that, but I'd like to really know who wants and likes to read my blog unlike some who don't.  If you don't read my blog much, I am not offended, I'd just like to know!  So if you read/like my blog, please say so in a comment below!  Also, if you have any suggestions on what you'd like me to post more on, please feel free to put that in your comment!  I don't want to delete my blog, but if I start to lose readers I will have too becuase then there wouldn't be any reason to keep it.
Thanks everyone!  Y'all are great!

Newman's Own Organics - Review & Giveaway

Howdy Everyone!

Recently, I had a much bigger review and giveaway from Newman's Own Organics, and again I want to say a big thank to everyone who entered and has followed my blog.  Y'all are great!  Since doing that, Newman's has asked if I would like to do a review for a couple new products that have just came out.  They are amazing, like all their products. Anyways, here's the review and giveaway!

Website // Facebook

<<<<<<>>>>>>

We're here to tell you why organic food makes sense for healthy living, a cleaner and safer environment, and great tasting snacks! There's lots of background on organics, and a chance to let us know how you like what we are doing.

Newman's doesn't only make really good products, they make healthy and safe-for-our-body but enjoyable sweets.  I really appreciate that because not very many company's do and really, it's sad.   The food of our day is so horrible and most of it, literally, is not even real after it's all processed.

<<<<<<>>>>>>

They so kindly not only sent me their two new products, but they let me pick out two other things in addition!

The Newman-O's Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Cookies - Oh my goodness!  These are so incredibly good it isn't even funny.  I love chocolate and I love peanut butter so these are the ideal cookie.  They are even better with a cup of raw cows milk :)

Sometimes Oatmeal cookies aren't very good, and I'm never really sure what they're going to taste like, but these are so good.  They are really addicting, like seriously, horribly addicting!  They are crunchy, but still a bit soft and it's really nice!

These are the new products below-

The Ginger Snap with Spelt cookies- although I'm not crazy about anything ginger, these are actually pretty good.  I do like them better then the ones without spelt, the spelt adds a nice flavor. :)  They are pretty good, though over all!

Newman-O's Creme Filled Vanilla Cookies-  These are so, so, so, so, good!!  I'm serious, these are best cookies they've ever made. You will become addicted to them like there wasn't anything else to eat.  These are my favorite, besides the mint filled Newman-O's.  I absolutely love them!!

<<<<<<>>>>>>

Over all, I think all the food I got to review is still just amazing as anything else they've made plus 15 stars =D  They make really good things and you won't ever be disappointed in anything of their's...unless after you get and your dogs eat it. ;)

Pros: Eveything!
Cons: We ate it all too fast :)
Rating: 5+ stars!!

They so graciously let me pick my favorite item to do a giveaway on!  It was a hard choice but....the
Creme Filled Vanilla cookies are what the giveaway winner will get =D

*Also, if you purchase a paracord bracelet, you will get 25 extra entries in this giveaway!*

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Newman's Own Organics for letting me do all this for them!!
 I really enjoyed it!!

Outfit - Cowboy Boots

You asked, and here it is.. another fashion post. This one isn't the cutest, but it came together pretty good for last minute running out the door to tend to cows!

Sweater // Goodwill
Tank // Maurices
Skirt // Thrift shop
Boots // Coastal

I really like this picture.. It shows joy and happiness I guess :)
On a side note- we now have 16 calves with 15 more to come.  I guess I should post some pictures of the calves, they are way too cute!   We have been bottle feeding one of the calves and really, it is fun.  We have named them in alphbetical order to keep them all straight and with that we now have- Annie,  Buttercup,  Custard,  Dixie,  Earnest T. Bass,  Freedom,  Gracie,  Hillbilly, Ice Cream,  Jordan.  We haven't found names for the rest.  Any ideas? ;)
Also, I whacked my head really hard on Monday so all week I've had headaches that normaly don't have.  It really isn't fun and I recommend that if you want to stay away from hurting your head, don't be going on rides in a Jeep on bummmmpy roads.  Just lettin' you know!
I'm sure you know this, but if you're trying to drive somewhere on a 4-wheeler, in the rain which has turned the road into mud, and you aren't dressed to go mudding, don't do it.  I did and well, never mind. It just might not be that good of an idea when you don't want to be muddy, otherwise it's fun :)
Another thing, I've been doing pistol shooting through 4-H. It's really enjoyable. I even got a higher score then the guys(not to brag or anything ;)
On a side note, and this is really turning into an update post and not a fashion one but that's alright,
I'll show you a picture of the newest little heifer born yesterday. She melts my heart.  I love her!

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice."

Scotland/Ireland

 Cliffs in Ireland
The worlds most stunning, gorgeous, beautiful castle ever. Ever, ever, ever. I'm melting...seriously.
 Highland games in Scotland
 I love this picture...

<<<<<<<>>>>>>>

These are pictures from my brothers trip to Ireland and Scotland in 2011. It sure was the trip of a lifetime for him and man, I so wish I could have gone! I pretty much seriously melt when seeing these pictures. I still feel just a tiny little bit of jealousy that he got to go, but I'm so happy he was able too.  I do believe that Ireland and Scotland are some of the prettiest places in the world. Who agrees?   I hope you enjoyed the pictures...and didn't melt too much (you only could if you have your heart set in a place you've never been...like me...)  :)
