Heylo Everyone!
Long time (not posting) no see (me posting), right? That's just kinda how life is right now and my blog is defiantly on the back burner. Sorry if it seems that I am neglecting it. But a-hood-dee-hoo! >> I found time to actually post an awkward and awesome Thursday post (and not even on Friday!). << Forget all that...it's Friday morning. ;)
Anyways, here it is. Hopefully it won't bored you out. :D
Awkward:
• Having to apologize to a friend, and the person totally didn't even remember what you were apologizing for. We ended up both laughing.
• Being asked by a friend, at church in front of ppl, what size shirt you wear. And not
even knowing the answer is awkward. But in the end I got an awesome t-shirt!
• Eating a cow utter cake pop. At a big festival. It was good, but just thinking about
your cows, then eating a fake utter...yeah, it was almost, well, gross eating it. Just
sayin'.
• Dumping cream all over a friends feet while shaking, rinsing, salting and wrapping
butter at the Buttermilk Festival...and then stepping on her toes. She had on flipflops
and me, boots. Ouch.
• Getting winked at by the same random person at the Buttermilk Festival...all through
the day.
• Having to hiccup all during church. And I couldn't stop. It was bad.
• Thinking it was Saturday on a Monday, and picking clothes out for church that I
guess was on Tuesday. I think being very tired and busy doesn't help!
• Going into the store 3 times in 5 minutes. 3 different items, 3 check-outs and the
same cashier. Plus you know that person.
• Sweeping at church with the big mop-broom and using it for the first time. I went up
and down the room not stopping to shake it out...not a good idea. I just left traces of
stuff everywhere. But thankfully a friend (whom I felt bad for having to do this) went
back and swept the whole room again. Next Sunday I WILL sweep successfully!
• Someone you've know for awhile at church getting shocked becuase he thought I way
older than him...and to find out he was 3 months older than me. O.o
Awesome:
• A friends awesome "keep calm" shirt. I love it!
• A new favorite song, JJ Heller. It's so true and encouraging. I really like it!
• Portland. 'nough said there. :D
• Scary conversations with a lovely friend. Communication saves lives, it really does.
• My brother and his family coming! I have missed them terribly.
• BBQs at the park starting for the summer! I am so excited, they are super fun.
Volleyball, outdoor games, the river, ooh how I love summer. :D
• Calling old friends...it's so nice to just talk with someone you've known for a long
time. I miss a few of my friends terribly. (I'm lacking faith right now!)
• Facetiming new friends...and planning trips to meet each other (oh, I do that with old
friends too :D)...it's fun.
• This isn't awesome, more like painful and...Being with some friends, jumping over the park bench in their yard and as you jump, a friend jumps to scare you (knowing I get
scared/jumpy very easy) and you fall face forward on the ground, landing all body
weight to my knee. Ooh it hurt. :D
• My big brother rubbing my shoulders and back...he is the total best! Be jealous!
• Finding the worlds best chocolate chip cookie recipe. Score!
• Being an auntie. It's the worlds best job! I absolutely love my nephew ♥
• Being at the same friends as I got hurt at, waiting to go on the swing. There's 4 kids,
waiting and one decides to say "age before beauty!" Well that got scary because we
started making every line possible to that...like "height before speed", "country before town", "blond hair before brown hair" or "Mexican food before Italian." Immature, I know, but we're only kids for a short time, might as well enjoy it while you can!
• Jumping on the trampline with my big brother like 'ol times. It was so super much
exciting fun!
My little nephew is the cutest baby in the world. He melts my heart. He is soooo adorable! I mean, yours may be too, but I'm racial to mine. Sorry :)
So there you have it...sorry I didn't have that much of good stuff to say, but at least I got some type of post up!
